AxMan Quick Start Information
You don't need to be an expert computer user to use AxMan. That's because AxMan's most
important feature is its simple, easy-to-use interface (However, if you are a more
experienced user, then there are plenty of customizable settings and options!).
If you haven't installed AxMan yet, then now might be a good time. For information on
how to install AxMan, please see the section on Installation and
Deinstallation.
Here's how to quickly split and restore a file:
Splitting a file
- Start AxMan
- If you have not registered yet, then you will need to agree to the terms of the license.
- Either manually type in the full path (drive letter, path, and file name) into the edit
box labelled "Select file to split" or push the Browse button to browse for the
file. (NOTE: You must specify a file. AxMan cannot split an entire folder).
- Enter the location of where you want the split pieces to be written into the edit box
labelled "Select destination directory". You can either manually type in the
path, select the Browse button to browse for the directory, or use the default value.
- Push the "Split" button to start the split process.
It's that's simple! Of course there are many options to choose from. Please see the AxMan Interactive Option Description page to find out more about
these choices.
